Lever Arms reduce the effect of Out-of-Plane-Bending (OPB) on the top chain in a mooring system. Flintstone combined lever arms into the BTC to allow it to be used in combination with the top chain that suffers from OPB. This system formed part of the solution for the Jubilee Turret Remediation Project.
